deeaiwai-upcycled
-
We source unwanted premium clothing / fabric.
We take care of sourcing premium quality unwanted clothing or fabric. It can be anything from unwanted luxury clothing items, to vintage interior textile items (curtains, blankets and etc), or deadstock fabric.
-
We take them apart and prepare the materials, before they are shipped to the designer.
If required we disassemble the clothes and match the fabrics by color or texture to be then sent to the designer.
-
We collaborate with designers to produce a one-off item.
Once the material is ready, we send it to an upcycling designer who creates a new garment based on our initial brief.
60% of the profit goes to the designer once the item is sold.

What is the point of all this?
Promoting independent makers / designers
We collaborate with independent designers / makers who are passionate about handmade clothing and upcycled goods.
We welcome anyone, from established designers at the peak of their career, who like to challenge themselves, or students who are just in the beginning of their journey and want to make extra cash together with a project to showcase in their portfolio.
60% of sale profit goes to the designer.
This is a curated project
We select designers based on experience, aesthetic, and most importantly - good vibes.
We prepare a proper design brief with requirements and references, that defines the overall direction. However, it is then in the hands of the designer to turn the brief into the reality through their own personal vision.
We review the status of the project with designers during the design and production phases.
We focus on sourcing high quality materials
We focus on sourcing unwanted, unused, donated, deadstock, materials. This can be deadstock fabric straight from factories, unwanted workwear from workshops, vintage curtains from interior design firms, luxury clothing items and etc.
